Marcellus Region - Close Interval Survey Programs

Legacy Integrity continuously performs comprehensive close interval surveys (CIS) covering 100’s of miles of pipeline in the Marcellus Region to assess cathodic protection effectiveness, identify corrosion risks, and optimize maintenance strategies. The team measured cathodic protection levels, soil resistivity, and coating conditions at regular intervals along the pipeline route, utilizing advanced data analysis techniques to correlate findings with environmental factors. Collaboration between the client and Legacy Integrity ensured adherence to safety protocols. Data analysis and deliverables were issued on time and on budget, to ensure safe and reliable operations

West Virginia (Storage) - Close Interval Survey

Legacy Integrity successfully conducted an 88-mile Close-Interval Survey (CIS) on behalf of a Transmission Pipeline Operator operating in the Marcellus Shale Region. This comprehensive Indirect Assessment involved seamless coordination with various operators within the region to establish a meticulously synchronized interruption schedule, facilitating precise data collection of polarized potentials. In light of seasonal constraints (specifically during hunting and harvesting season), our team diligently provided daily updates to the client’s Right-of-Way (ROW) agents. This transparent and effective communication allowed these agents ample time to notify all stakeholders and efficiently coordinate access to each site.

Wichita, KS - Low Stress Reassessment ECDA Gradient Survey Program

Legacy Integrity regularly conducts a series of Low Stress Reassessment (LSR) surveys for a Gas Pipeline Operator in Kansas and Missouri. These LSRs are comprised of assessments including Depth of Cover (DOC), Direct Current Voltage Gradient (DCVG), Close Interval Survey (CIS), and Soil Resistivity Testing. By combining these complementary inspection techniques, Legacy Integrity obtains essential data points for analysis, allowing for the identification of the most probable locations of active corrosion. Subsequently, these specific areas are chosen for direct examinations by the operator to ensure the integrity of their pipeline assets.
